(IsraelNN.com) The commander in the area between Kfar Saba and the Samaria communities of Kedumim and Ginot Shomron has ordered forces to beef up patrols near the Arab town of Azoun, where terrorists lightly injured a Jewish motorist Friday night with a firebomb. The following afternoon, five people suffered light injuries from rock attacks on six cars, and residents met Sunday night to protest the lack of protection.

Karnei Shomron Regional Council leader Herzl Ben Ari said the army responded by clamping a curfew on the village and reinforcing patrols to keep the highway clear of terrorists. Motorists have been the target of stoning and firebombing attacks for more than a year.
