Doctors at Tel Aviv's Sheba Medical center are operating at this hour on the two brothers who suffered serious injuries in a Kassam rocket attack on Sderot on the Sabbath. Eight-year-old Osher Tweeto lost one of his legs, below the knee, in the terrorist attack and is listed in very serious but not life-threatening condition. He is in the Intensive Care Unit.
His 19-year-old brother Rami suffered moderate to serious wounds in his legs and also is undergoing an operation at this hour. Both boys were in an open field when they heard the early warning siren, which gave them 20 seconds to try to run for cover before the rocket exploded two yards from them.
