Cyprus prohibited planes from entering its airspace Thursday, forcing a Turkish SHY flight to return to its departure point, Ben Gurion International Airport.

The flight, which was headed to Antalya, returned to Lod safely. It is not clear why Cyprus was restricting its airspace.
