The number of terrorists killed in an IDF counter terrorist operation in northern Gaza has risen from four to six, according to Arab sources. The Arabic news site Al-Jazeera said the terrorists belonged to Hamas, but Hamas identified them as members of Islamic Jihad.
 
Golani soldiers and tank units participated in the ground operation, accompanied by Air Force cover, in an effort to reduce the number of Kassam rocket attacks on the Negev. None of the soldiers was injured.
