A doctor in Dimona unwittingly treated the suicide bomber who moments before had been shot by police officer Koby Mor, according to the British Guardian. Mor related to journalists Monday how he fired at the bomber and shot again after he raised his hand to set off his explosive charge.

The bomber apparently fell after the first explosion by another suicide bomber. Dr. Baruch Mandeltzweig and others came to help him. "His head was moving.... We started to treat him and then we saw an explosive belt.... I thought it might be the terrorist but I wasn't sure," the doctor told Army Radio. "All I knew was that there was an injured person and I needed to treat him."
