Israel Files U.N. Complaint over Dimona Bombing

Israel has filed an official complaint with the United Nations over the suicide bombing in Dimona Monday morning. One elderly woman was killed in the blast and her husband is in critical condition in Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva, where he is hanging on to his life. Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Gillerman stated, "Similar to the Kassam rocket attacks on Sderot, the suicide bombing demonstrates the will of terrorists to attack citizens in Israel." He also denounced U.N. member nations who support and encourage terror against Israel.

The White House called on the Palestinian Authority (PA) "to double its efforts against terror" while American State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said the attack proves the need for negotiations between Israel and the PA.
