Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) reported continued cooperation in recovering stolen vehicles following action two weeks ago that resulted in the return of three stolen cars found in Shechem. It was the first time in three years that the Arab security forces have worked with Israel to return stolen vehicles, which are a source of income for many terrorists.
Israeli police in Judea and Samaria said that more than 20 cars have been returned from Jenin following a joint operation with the PA forces, and another 20 may be recovered later this week. However, many of the cars sustained serious damage or were stripped.
