The price of packaged meats and products such as hummus and tehina has risen over the past three months due to an increase in the price of raw ingredients.  The price of packaged meat products has increased by five to ten percent. 

The price increase comes in addition to an increase in the prices of several basic foods such as milk, bread, and produce.  Bakers are pressuring the government to increase the price of subsidized bread.
