Taibe Resident Convicted in Foiled Attack Reported: 17:23 PM - Jan/31/08
(IsraelNN.com) Dubian Natzirat of Taibe was convicted on Thursday of planning to take part in a terrorist attack near Netanya in October of 2004. Natzirat and two other Arab Israeli men planned to bomb the train tracks near Netanya as a train approached. The three were arrested before they could carry out the attack. The other two would-be bombers, Mujahad Dukan and Amin Ziuti of Taibe, were already convicted and sentenced. The two were sentenced to 15 years and seven years in jail respectively. Dukan was in touch with terrorists from Fatah’s Al Aksa Martyrs’ Brigades and received three bombs to place on the train tracks. Natzirat agreed to take part in the attack after Dukan agreed to give him one of the bombs for his private use.
