Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski said Thursday the municipality would create a civilian cemetery near the Mount Menuchot complex in western Jerusalem.

The new section will include a secular burial ground, as well as a section for individuals who may choose not to be buried in a traditional Jewish cemetery.
