(IsraelNN.com) Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas will meet with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Wednesday to discuss the issue of border control in the Rafiah area between Egypt and Gaza.  Abbas and Mubarak have discussed the issue before in recent days, and Mubarak has reportedly talked with Hamas leaders as well.

Abbas said Tuesday that the PA is determined to take control of the border, which is currently controlled by Hamas and Egyptian soldiers.  Abbas did not explain how the PA would maintain control of the area without support from Hamas.
