Schools will be closed in Jerusalem on Wednesday due to snow. A thin layer of snow covered the capital city overnight on Wednesday, and snow is expected to continue to fall throughout the day. Schools will be closed in the northern Golan region as well.
Classes have been cancelled in much of Judea and Samaria as well. Many schools in the Binyamin region will be closed, as will schools in Gush Etzion and Kiryat Arba. While snow has not begun to accumulate in Jewish communities near Shechem, schools will be closed due to concerns over dangerous conditions on local roads due to freezing rain.
