    Winograd Asks for Open Roads

Members of the Winograd Committee have asked that several roads remain open on Wednesday despite the snowfall expected on Tuesday night.  Committee members asked Prime Minister’s Office officials and Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski to ensure that roads around the PMO and the International Convention Center in Jerusalem remain clear in order to allow the timely submission of the committee’s final report on the Second Lebanon War.

Jerusalem city officials have begun preparing for the possibility of snow, and say they will keep major roads open even in heavy snowfall.  Charitable organizations have begun preparing as well, and plan to assist sick and elderly patients who require medical treatment.
