Bethlehem Arabs said Monday that IDF soldiers had shot and killed one local teen and wounded two others. Locals identified the dead teen as 17-year-old Kusai al-Afandi.
IDF spokesmen said they could not confirm the report. Spokesmen confirmed that soldiers had fired on rioters who attacked them with fire bombs, stones and heavy blocks after non-lethal methods of crowd dispersal failed to work.
