Border police arrested 846 Palestinian Authority Arabs over the weekend for entering pre-1967 Israel without a permit.  Ninety-seven of the detainees were held for questioning.  The rest were returned to their home villages in Judea and Samaria.

Twenty-eight of those arrested were wanted by security services.  Police also questioned four employers and 15 people who had transported the illegal entrants.  In addition, police found eight stolen cars.
