According to eyewitness reports in Rafiah, Egyptian police have sealed one of the three openings breached in the wall separating Egypt and Gaza Wednesday. The Egyptians have also begun preventing Gazans from crossing over into Egypt, and clashes between the police and the Gazans have been reported.

Egyptian Border Police have created a human chain facing the open breaches and have issued a call to the tens of thousands of Gazans who crossed into Egyptian Rafiah and El Arish to return to Gaza.

These moves angered the Gazans, who began throwing rocks at the police. The police fired in the air.
