Passages into Gaza will continue to be sealed off, security officials decided Wednesday evening in an assessment discussion headed by Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai. However, diesel fuel for power stations, generators and ambulances, as well as cooking gas and medical supplies, will continue to be transferred into Gaza.

All other goods and equipment will not be allowed into Gaza from the Israeli passages, and IDF activities in Gaza will continue.

The meeting was chaired by Matan Vilnai because Defense Minister Ehud Barak is in France.
