The IDF and the Shabak (General Security Service) discovered chemical materials that can be used to create explosives in Balata, near Shechem.

The chemicals were found in two factories and are defined as dual-purpose materials. 36 containers of sulfuric acid, silver nitrate and other chemicals were confiscated.
