Former IDF Chief of Staff Moshe Ya'alon said Tuesday that attempts to solve the Israeli-Arab conflict via international forums such as last year's Annapolis Conference are doomed to failure. Addressing the third day of the annual Herzliya Conference, Ya'alon said such gatherings have "no chance" to succeed and that there is great danger that future meetings will create an enemy authority in Judea and Samaria.
Ya'alon also criticized PA Chairman Abu Mazen for "choosing to be a weak leader" in order to avoid working for a two-state solution.
