Rain is forecast for most of the country on Tuesday, but the amount of precipitation will be less than one inch. Drizzle will begin Monday night in the south and continue until early Wednesday morning.
However, another storm system is brewing, and the longer-term forecast calls for more showers on Friday in the north and in the central and northern Negev regions on the Sabbath. Temperatures will drop sharply, reaching near zero in hilly regions, and snow is forecast for the Hermon.
