John Bolton, former American Ambassador to the United Nations, called on Israel Monday to divulge details of its bombing of a nuclear facility in northern Syria last September. He explained that Israel would not be sacrificing any intelligence information.

Israel has not officially confirmed the attack, but photographs have shown that the bombed site was either a nuclear site under construction or a storehouse for nuclear warheads for missiles aimed at Israel.

Speaking in an interview with Dr. Yitzchak Noy on Voice of Israel government radio, Bolton also said that North Korea, which is aiding Syria in nuclear development, could not be doing so without the agreement or even the help of Iran.

Bolton explained that overthrowing the Syrian government is the only way to break its alliance with Iran.
