Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni says she wants to reshuffle the ministry's public relations priorities for 2008.

Livni demanded an overhaul of the PR plan to include Israel's talks with the Palestinian Authority.  The current list of priorities in the international PR plan includes "branding" the Jewish State, fighting efforts by Arab and other Islamic forces to delegitimize Israel and increase awareness of its cultural and economic achievements. 

She was reportedly amazed to discover that the talks with the PA were not included in the plan, despite the fact that the negotiations form a major focus of a separate diplomacy plan currently in the works. Livni demanded the PR gurus redo the plan to emphasize garnering support for the talks from the international Jewish community, with specific focus on US Jews.
