Five soldiers and two civilian IDF employees were injured on a navy vessel in Haifa Wednesday after a bomb shell aboard the ship exploded while a cannon was being repaired.

Magen David Adom and army ambulances evacuated the wounded to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.  One of the victims was in serious condition and undergoing surgery.  Another was listed in moderate condition, with the rest suffering from lighter injuries.
