MK Katz: Targeted Attacks on Terrorists Not Enough
MK Yisrael Katz (Likud) called upon the government to respond to the sniper attack that killed a South American volunteer at Kibbutz Ein HaShlosha in the western Negev Tuesday morning.
Katz said the government must conduct an extensive military campaign against terrorists in Gaza to prevent the situation from deteriorating to what it was in the 50s, "when Jewish farmers were unable to work their land in the region [for fear of attacks from Gaza."
Katz added that while he praises the targeted strike that killed terrorist Hussein al-Zahar, such actions alone are not enough to solve the problem.
