Junior academic staff at Hebrew University has refused to teach between noon and 4:00 p.m. Monday in a sympathy strike with senior lecturers who have been out of the classrooms since the beginning of the school year.
Students plan to join in with a march to the Knesset later in the day to protest the lack of a settlement in the strike. Wage talks between the lecturers and Finance Ministry have been deadlocked for months.
