Foreign Ministry Requests Police Forensics in Namibia (IsraelNN.com) Israel Police have been asked to send a team of forensic specialists to the African nation of Namibia to identify first-hand the bodies of five Israelis who died in a plane crash there on Friday. Collection has already begun of DNA samples here in Israel in preparation for the trip. It is believed that the five were high-level executives from a diamond company operating on the Ramat Gan Diamond Exchange, with mines in Namibia. According to Haaretz, the police have been warned by the Foreign Ministry there is a possibility the Namibian government will not allow their entry.
