Palestinian Authority Arabs hurled rocks at Israeli cars in two separate attacks Sunday on the road south of Shechem. No one was injured but the cars were damaged in the attacks.
PA security police forces trained and equipped by the U.S. are allegedly in control of terrorist activity emanating from the city, known as the "terrorist capital of Samaria", according to officials with the government of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas." The PA reported last week just prior to the visit by US President George W. Bush to the region that all terrorists had handed in their weapons to its security police in anticipation of shortly joining the force.
