The families of kidnapped IDF soldiers Gilad Shalit, Eldad Regev, and Ehud Goldwasser met with United States National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley on Thursday. The families asked Hadley for help in securing their loved ones’ return.
Karnit Goldwasser, Ehud’s wife, explained that Hadley was seen as having influence in the region. Hadley could speak to Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah, she said. She expressed hope that Hadley would use his influence in the Middle East to help the kidnapped soldiers.
