Journalist Adam Shuv has threatened to sue several major Israeli publications.  Shuv was recently accused of rape in a case that was extensively covered in several major publications.  One paper even added false details to the report and claimed that a second woman had accused Shuv of rape as well, an untrue accusation, Shuv said.  Police found that Shuv was not guilty of the charges against him.

Shuv told Nfc that he and his attorney, Boaz Ben-Tzur, would decide in the course of the next few days whether to sue major media outlets.  “I can promise you that this case will create an unusual legal precedent that will be well remembered in the media outlets’ deep pocket,” he said.
