The government committee tasked with determining eligibility criteria for those Palestinian Authority terrorists with “blood on their hands” to be released in a prisoner swap for kidnapped IDF Cpl. Gilad Shalit will make its recommendations on Thursday.
The Ramon Commission is expected to present Prime Minister Ehud Olmert with its conclusions about the prospect of narrowing the definition of “blood on the hands.” If the criteria are changed, convicted PA murderers who were not physically present at the scene of the crime, but who only masterminded the attack, will be eligible for release in a prisoner exchange deal.
