Several dozen students at Jerusalem's Hebrew University are calling for the release of Jonathan Pollard. The protest is set to coordinate with the arrival of US President George W. Bush by helicopter at the university's Givat Ram campus this afternoon.
Pollard has been incarcerated in a maximum-facility prison since he was accused of spying on behalf of Israel in 1986. His life-in-prison sentence is the United States' most severe sentence ever for spying on behalf of a friendly nation.
