Homesh First: Government Helping Terrorists (IsraelNN.com) Members of Homesh First responded Tuesday to the arrest of a Palestinian Authority policeman for a shooting attack on Israeli civilians by accusing the government of assisting terrorists. The government “is a partner to the shedding of Jewish blood by giving weapons and bringing the terrorist army back to life,” the group said. Homesh First activists called on the government to fight terrorists and not Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria. PA policeman Mussa Akel was arrested in Kfar Kadum in Samaria on Monday for his role in a shooting attack in which an Israeli man was seriously wounded. PA policemen have been responsible for the murder of three Israeli citizens in recent months. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and his cabinet continue to support the PA police force, which recently took control in Shechem and Bethlehem, and have agreed to let the force import guns, ammunition, and dozens of armored vehicles. ![]() Sign up for new Daily Israel Headlines: One page – All the news © A7 Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
