(IsraelNN.com) Workers in the Be’er Sheva cemetery discovered Tuesday that graves belonging to members of the Ethiopian community had been vandalized for the second time in two days.  One of the graves that was vandalized belonged to Gavriel Dawit, a drowning victim whose body was recently returned to Israel in a deal with Lebanese terrorists.   Another belonged to a mother of seven children who made aliyah (immigrated) to Israel.

The vandals had sprayed neo-Nazi slogans on the graves, including “Death to Jews” and “Patrol 36.”  “Patrol 36” was the name used by a group of young neo-Nazis who were recently caught in Petach Tikva after terrorizing local Jews and foreign workers for several months.

Be’er Sheva police said they would set up a special investigative team to find the culprits.  Dawit’s sister, Tova Kasai, said, “Even when I grew up abroad surrounded by Christians I did not see such a cruel act.  It’s a shame that this happened in Israel of all places.”
