(IsraelNN.com) Thousands of people formed a human chain around Jerusalem’s Old City on Tuesday.  The event was meant as a protest of plans to split the city of Jerusalem between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.  The PA demands that Israel give up the entire Old City, including the Temple Mount.

The “One Jerusalem” group organized the protest.  A second protest began on Tuesday evening in Har Homa, where activist groups plan to declare that Jews will continue building in Judea and Samaria despite pressure from the PA and the United States to freeze construction.
