Police Prepare For Rabbinic Temple Mount Visit
Jerusalem police are preparing the visit of a large number of rabbis and Land of Israel activists to the Temple Mount, Judaism's holiest site, Tuesday.
The mass ascent called for prayers at the site "for the annulment of the wicked plans to divide Jerusalem and surrender the Temple Mount to foreigners and enemies."
Public Security Minister Avi Dichter has ordered police to be strict about preventing Jewish prayer at the site. Silent moving of the lips is illegal for Jews on the Temple Mount, according to Dichter.
