MK Rabbi Chaim Amsalem met with members of the United States Congress on Monday to discuss the possibility of forming an international lobby against abortion. Amsalem met with Congressmen Chris Smith, Frank Wolf, and Joseph Pitts in the Knesset building.
The group discussed methods of working to reduce the number of abortions performed in their respective countries. Among other things, the politicians decided to submit laws that would limit the use of abortion, and to create an anti-abortion lobby in Israel headed by MK Amsalem.
