Police found a weapons cache in the Israeli Arab city of Taibe on Monday evening. The cache included a Kalashnikov rifle, a pistol, and dozens of bullets. Police said they knew who owned the weapons, and would arrest him as soon as possible.
The city of Taibe has an unusually high crime rate, and is home to multiple warring clans. A 23-year-old resident of the city was shot and killed in a drive-by attack earlier in the week, and his sister and her daughter were shot and seriously wounded. Police say they suspect that members of a rival clan were behind the shooting.
