The Knesset voted down three proposed no-confidence measures on Monday. The measures were brought by NU/NRP, Likud, and the Arab parties.
NU/NRP and Likud both protested Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s decision to freeze Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria and limit it in Jerusalem. The Arab parties filed a no-confidence measure following what they termed discrimination against Arabs in Israel and the government’s policy regarding unauthorized Arab villages.
