Israeli secret agents are carrying out reconnaissance missions in the United States to study nuclear engineering intelligence and technology, according to the British Sunday Times.
The article, based on assertions made by Turkish translator Sibil Edmonds, who was recruited into the FBI after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington DC. She suggests that Israel is spying in the US State Department and in the Pentagon in order to attain nuclear engineering intelligence.
According to Edmonds, Israeli and Turkish agents recruit Nuclear Engineering doctoral students to investigate for them inside nuclear facilities in the United States. Edmonds testified before the US Congress on her assertions, and decided to make her claims public when Congress did not act on her statements.
