Egyptian officials announced Saturday that troops had discovered five weapons smuggling tunnels earlier in the day.  The tunnels were exposed by heavy rain.  Egyptian forces destroyed them.

Egyptian officials insist that their forces are doing all they can to stop weapons smuggling.  Israeli officials have called on Egypt to do more to fight smuggling, and to take an active approach by stopping smugglers before they reach the border.
