(IsraelNN.com) According to a poll conducted by the Tel Aviv University’s “Peace Index,” 81 percent of Israelis support the targeted killing of terrorist leaders in Gaza and would support an increase in the number of such killings.  Over 60 percent said Israel should not agree to stop the targeted killings in exchange for a promise from Hamas to stop rocket fire on Israeli cities.

More than 75 percent said that Egypt could do more to stop weapons smuggling between Egypt and Gaza.  Eighty-one percent said they supported Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni’s recent harsh criticism of Egypt’s failure to stop weapons smuggling.
