IDF soldiers finished a three-day operation in Shechem on Saturday. Twenty-three terrorists were arrested during the operation, including two senior members of Fatah.
Over the past three days soldiers in Shechem found a weapons cache, a bomb-making lab, and two nearly completed rockets similar to the “Kassam” rockets used by terrorists in Gaza.
Senior Palestinian Authority officials complained that the operation undermined PA forces in the city. PA officials say their forces have made significant progress in fighting local terrorist groups.
