Palestinian Authority forces claim to have uncovered a Hamas bomb-making laboratory in Nablus last week, Haaretz reported. Sources said the 33 kilograms of mercury – a central component for detonating a bomb - and other materials were intended to be used against Israel and Palestinian Authority targets, the sources said.
Nablus Governor Jamal Muhaisen also said the PA has confiscated 120 weapons held by Hamas, including M-16s, sniper rifles, Uzi submachine guns and more. He also claimed PA forces have thwarted multiple attacks on Israeli civilians and soldiers planned by Hamas.
