Wiesenthal Center Tells UN to Deal with Suicide Bombing Reported: 13:15 PM - Jan/04/08
(IsraelNN.com) The Los Angeles-based Simon Wiesenthal Center has called on the United Nations to take strong action against suicide terrorism with a full-page ad in the New York Times and International Herald Tribune newspapers. The ad was placed one week after Pakistan opposition leader Benazir Bhutto was murdered, and features a photograph of the slain leader beneath the words "SUICIDE TERROR: What more will it take for the world to act?" Wiesenthal Center founder Rabbi Marvin Hier told Reuters the world must act in order to prevent weapons of mass destruction from reaching terrorist hands. "If we don't put it on the top of the international agenda, the causalities we are seeing now will be nothing compared to what's in store for us in the future. Thirty or 40 years from now the reports will be: '100,000 people died today in a suicide biological attack.'" ![]() Check out the Chill Zone - Funny, Entertaining Videos © IsraelNN Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
