IDF soldiers continued operations in the city of Shechem overnight on Thursday after a weapons laboratory was found in the city hours earlier. The lab included two nearly completed rockets similar to the short-range “Kassam” rockets used by Gaza terrorists. The rockets were discovered shortly after Samaria terrorists claimed they had fired a rocket on a nearby Jewish town.
Palestinian Authority officials have expressed anger over IDF operations in Shechem, saying IDF counter-terrorist activities undermine local security forces. PA officials argued that PA forces have uncovered weapons labs as well, and have confiscated over 100 guns from local Hamas terrorists.
