MK Ephraim Sneh, a member of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, said Thursday that Israel had no knowledge of claims made by Hizbullah head Hassan Nasrallah. Nasrallah claimed that his group holds the remains of Israeli soldiers killed in the Second Lebanon War. Sneh told Israel Radio interviewers that Israel was unaware of the existence of Israeli body parts in the hands of Hizbullah.
Nasrallah also said that Hizbullah is prepared to make a deal to trade the body parts and two kidnapped Israeli soldiers for convicted terrorists, but that Israeli officials were dragging out the process. In addition, he blamed Israel for a series of assassinations against senior Lebanese officials.
