Kiev weekly magazine Focus listed two prominent Ukrainian rabbis among the most "powerful foreigners" in the country.  Rabbi Yaakov Dov Bleich, one of Kiev and Ukraine's chief rabbis, and Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetzky, chief rabbi of the Jewish community of Dnepropetrovsk made the list along side US and Russian ambassadors. 

They were said to seriously influence developments in the country.
