A poll found that 50.1% of the Israeli public think that if Ehud Barak does not leave the government after the final Winograd Commission report is published, he would be shirking responsibility. In a poll carried out by Geocartografia, 18.8% of the public said Barak's staying under those circumstances would be an act of leadership.
500 people were asked if Barak's staying in the government after the Winograd report would strengthen or weaken him as a future candidate for Prime Minister. 44% said it would weaken him and only 8.2 thought it would strengthen him.
