Jews from the hareidi Matityahu East neighborhood of Modi'in Illit erected two caravan homes near their community, in the vicinity of the Arab village of Bil'in. In response, a group of Arabs descended on the area, resulting in a scuffle between the two groups. 

Two Arabs and two Jews were arrested, with the drivers of the truck and crane used to deliver the caravans also being detained. 

Three Arabs who accused the hareidi Jews of badly beating them during the fight were driven to a Ramallah hospital by a PA ambulance service.
