Australian police have determined that a suspicious white powder sent to the Israeli embassy in Canberra on Wednesday is not a biological or chemical agent. Police are assuming the powder is harmless, and have allowed the embassy staff and visitors to reenter the building.
The embassy was evacuated after staff received the powder, and staff were put in quarantine. While the staff have been released, Australian security forces will remain near the embassy for the next two days in case any staff members show symptoms of exposure to a biological or chemical agent.
